HEAD renews and expands its contract with the Portuguese Padel Federation

  • March 25, 2024

HEAD has renewed its agreement with the Portuguese Padel Federation to continue being the official ball. In this way, and as stipulated in the contract, all championships of both the adult circuit and the youth circuit of the FPP will continue to be played with the HEAD Padel Pro S ball.

Although it is a well-known product, it is worth noting that the HEAD Padel Pro S is a premium model chosen by the players themselves, known for its great control and durability, ideal for the most demanding padel players. Not only does it have the trust of the aforementioned Portuguese Padel Federation, but also of the Spanish and Andorran federations, as well as 13 regional federations.

Ricky Brigolle, Category Manager Racquetsports at HEAD Spain, expresses enthusiasm regarding the news: “We are very happy and grateful to renew, once again, as the official ball with the Portuguese Padel Federation. Over the years, our relationship with this institution has strengthened, thanks to which the visibility of HEAD is increasing and always greatly appreciated. In addition, we have signed a new agreement as the official racket, which helps us continue to bring padel to every corner of the country".

In addition to exclusively using HEAD Padel Pro S balls in all their competitions, the prestigious Portuguese Padel Federation also grants the company the status of official sponsor and has been promoting the brand through federation channels, communications, and events for ten years. This is an agreement that began in 2014 and remains strong and alive.

"We at the Portuguese Padel Federation are pleased to have a globally renowned brand and to prolong a connection that dates back to the beginning of our activity as the Portuguese Padel Federation", says Ricardo da Silva Oliveira, president of the FPP, who thanks "the support and trust that HEAD, a fundamental partner in our journey, has always provided in the development of this sport in Portugal".
