Last weekend, the first leg of the eighth season of the Tour Universo Mujer took place in Toledo, an event in which the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) made its debut as one of the 35 federations that are part of the Iberdrola program.
In its ongoing collaboration with the FEP, as the official court provider, Portico Sport installed a Mini Court at the event, where various contests, activities, and challenges were held for all attendees to showcase their racket skills.
For the first time, this event will feature padel as a background sport and will have the presence of Neki Berwig, President of the FEP’s Women and Padel Committee, and Paula Letón, President of the Castilla-La Mancha Padel Federation, along with regional federation coaches.
The Tour Universo Mujer is considered the largest outdoor sports event in Europe, offering a sports and informational space for the 35 federations sponsored by Iberdrola Spain. Moreover, it has a charitable aspect: all proceeds from the purchase of race bibs are donated to a social cause, making this a unique event that no one will want to miss.
