StarVie launches Drax, their new bet for players seeking maximum performance

  • September 13, 2024

StarVie, a 100% Spanish company founded in 2002 with its own factory in Azuqueca de Henares since 2013, presents its new padel racket mold: Drax.

This new padel racket, featuring a revolutionary teardrop shape and technological innovations, has been created to provide players with a unique gaming experience, perfectly balancing control and power.

The Drax ensures quick, precise, and powerful responses in every move, helping players maximize their on-court performance and bring out the best in their game, regardless of their playing style.

Quality and Tradition in Every Detail

True to its commitment to quality and innovation, StarVie manufactures all its padel rackets at its Azuqueca de Henares factory in Guadalajara. The artisanal process and careful selection of materials ensure that every paddle meets the highest standards of performance and durability.

This launch marks another step forward in the brand’s commitment to innovation in padel, designed to meet the needs of the most demanding players. The Drax is much more than just a padel racket; it is the result of an extensive process of research, development, and testing, where StarVie's experts have poured all their experience and knowledge into the sport.

Two versions to suit different playing styles

Ideal for advanced players looking for maximum power and control. With its medium-hard density rubber and double layer of 12K carbon fiber, this paddle delivers exceptional performance on the court.

Designed for more versatile gameplay, this version features softer rubber that provides greater ball speed, as well as excellent handling and comfort. Perfect for intermediate players seeking a well-rounded game.

Technological Innovations

  • Two layers of 12K carbon fiber on the surface. This material is more flexible than 3K carbon, resulting in a softer feel and greater ball output, though the double layers of this carbon make the Drax stiffer, adding extra power and control.
  • Pro Touch medium-hard density rubber, offering an exceptional combination of control and power, along with greater sensitivity when hitting the ball with the padel racket.
  • Racing Tech Technology applied to the padel racket surface. This innovative roughness, created directly from an aluminum mold, increases durability. Its edges create multiple angled ridges that enhance spin when hitting the ball.
  • Hepta Bridge, a technology applied to the heart of the padel racket. Its 7-sided geometric structure provides stability, reducing padel racket torsion and flex, making it lighter and more maneuverable. Additionally, the geometric heart distributes forces evenly, improving vibration absorption when hitting the ball.
  • Airflow Design, featuring grooves along the paddle's profile that help reduce weight. This allows for more efficient and agile movement, helping players generate more speed and power in their strokes.
