Siux introduces its three new padel racket ranges: Electra ST4, Fenix 5, and Valkiria

  • January 29, 2025

Siux, the Spanish padel specialist, kicks off the year with the launch of three new racket ranges: Electra ST4, Fenix 5, and Valkiria, the latter specifically designed as an option for female players.

With the aim of strengthening its portfolio of rackets tailored to every type of player, Siux has carefully redesigned its iconic Electra and Fenix ranges, created for versatile and aggressive players, respectively.

Enchancements in the new Electra range

The Electra ST4 range features three models based on skill level: Pro, Elite, and Go. Franco Stupaczuk, the Argentine player ranked number 5 by the FIP, will once again spearhead the franchise. The Pro-level racket was previously recognized as the best hybrid power racket at the Testea Padel Awards.

Thanks to its impressive performance last season, certain features remain unchanged, while new improvements have been introduced, such as a redesigned bridge for better versatility and maneuverability, enhancing overall performance. Additionally, the lateral reinforcement area of the frame has been optimized to widen the sweet spot.

The Pro model incorporates a new development of 15K carbon on the racket face and 3K carbon on the tubular structure, preserving the franchise's signature hard touch. With a medium balance and a marked sweet spot, it stands out for its fresh design, featuring a sand-textured glossy finish and new accessories for the Pro and Elite models: Dual Pro Grip and Switch Strap (interchangeable strap system).

The cutting-edge Fenix range

The Fenix 5 range has been developed for more aggressive and technical players at an advanced level, featuring standout Pro and Elite versions.

Both models have a high balance and hard touch, designed to deliver powerful shots. Due to the shape of the racket, the sweet spot is located near the head, while the handle is slightly longer than usual, facilitating leverage and two-handed backhands. The 24K carbon enhances the racket's hardness to generate more power.

The Elite version offers a slightly softer touch than the Pro but has a much larger sweet spot, making it more forgiving of off-center hits. This provides greater ball output and ease in net blocking or defensive plays from the backcourt.

Siux's new recruits, Leo Augsburger (ranked 30 by the FIP) and Álex Chozas (ranked 28 by the FIP), will compete this year with the Fenix Pro 5 range.

Valkiria: a new offering for demanding female players

As a major novelty this year, Siux has made a strategic move to target female players by developing the first edition of the Valkiria range. Designed for versatile players who enjoy controlling the game, this racket is easy to handle, offers a medium touch, and delivers impressive ball output.

The range includes three models: Pro, Elite, and Go, all featuring new technology and accessories in the Pro and Elite models, such as the Switch Strap (interchangeable strap) and Dual Pro Grip, similar to the Electra ST4 and Fenix ranges.

The Valkiria Pro offers a versatile game with a hybrid shape, medium balance, and an EVA Soft core for a comfortable and user-friendly experience. The faces are made of 24K aluminized carbon with a glossy finish, and the racket weighs between 340 and 360 grams. Siux’s new signing, Sofia Araújo, currently ranked number 8 by the FIP, will use this new racket.

The Elite version shares the same mold as the Pro and retains the soft rubber core, but features 12K carbon on the racket face, giving it a medium-soft touch. It has a matte finish and weighs between 340 and 360 grams. Players Esther Carnicero (ranked 33 by the FIP), Jimena Velasco (ranked 40 by the FIP), and Carlotta Casali (ranked 3 in Italy) will compete with this model during the season.

Finally, the Go model features a mixed tubular structure and soft-density rubber, making it softer than the other versions. The face is made of 3K Flesh aluminized Alumesh, which provides greater ball output, a wider sweet spot, and improved shot assistance. Weighing between 340 and 360 grams, it boasts a glossy finish.
