With innovation and sustainability as its core pillars, Siux, the Spanish brand specialized in padel, has developed its latest padel racket: GEA. Born from respect for the environment without compromising performance, this is an advanced-level racket designed for precision and control on court.
Featuring a low balance and medium touch, the GEA incorporates ampliTEXTM 3K on its faces, a natural fiber-based reinforcement material for composite structures, engineered to deliver high performance with minimal weight and reduced environmental impact. Manufactured by Bcomp, this material is made from flax fibers, offering enhanced flexibility and resulting in a larger sweet spot than other rackets on the market, while still maintaining a medium touch that allows for solid power when needed.
"Innovating sustainably is a responsibility that all companies share. In a rapidly growing sport like padel, delivering environmentally respectful solutions is not optional-it’s a duty. Inspired by the earth, we designed this racket for players seeking precision and balance in every shot,” says Stefano Barbero, Product Manager at Siux. “GEA represents a new way of understanding padel: natural, conscious, and technically flawless.”
New sustainable apparel line
With this latest launch, Siux is taking its commitment to sustainability a step further by introducing a textile collection made from natural materials.
The technical collection is made from Lyocell, an eco-friendly semi-synthetic fiber derived from eucalyptus cellulose. This material is 100% biodegradable and compostable, offering garments that are resilient, elastic, highly absorbent, and breathable-ideal for summer sportswear.
Meanwhile, the casual line includes a cotton-style T-shirt made from bamboo fibers, an eco-friendly and biodegradable material that results in a soft, breathable, hypoallergenic garment. The shirt also includes antibacterial and anti-odor technology, making it the perfect piece for players both on and off the court.
