From 27 to 29 May, Realturf participated in the Padel World Summit 2025, held in Barcelona, with an impressive stand, turf on several courts and a busy networking day.
From 27 to 29 May, Barcelona hosted a new edition of the Padel World Summit, the most important international event in the professional padel sector. A key event for the future of the world of sport, where innovation, sustainability and quality were once again the protagonists.
Realturf participated for the second consecutive year, this time with a larger and more visual stand, which became one of the most visited meeting points at the fair. There, the leaders in artificial turf presented their latest solutions for padel, showcasing the work they have developed both alone and with their strategic partners to continue raising the standard of sports surfaces.
Realturf grass was present on several of the official courts at the event, being used both in the exhibition matches and by professional players who wanted to try out the surfaces. The feedback after the matches was very positive, with players highlighting the quality of the bounce, the uniformity of the surface and the grip during movement.
In addition, Realturf gave a presentation alongside the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia (IBV) on one of its courts in collaboration with Padel Galis, explaining in detail the design and manufacturing process of its PGR model. This turf was developed by and for players, and its design has been validated not only through biomedical testing in real playing conditions, but also endorsed by professional player Bela.
During the presentation, a visual example was shown of how these tests were carried out with amateur players on the court, measuring the impact, traction and body response on the surface.
Another of the highlights was the after-work event organised by the brand, which brought together a large number of professionals from the sector in a relaxed atmosphere, conducive to networking, sharing ideas and strengthening links with leaders in the world of sport.
This edition once again demonstrates the importance of quality, commitment and innovation in designing safe, functional surfaces that are adapted to high-performance sport.
