Joma presents a special collection dedicated to its player Juanlu Esbrí, which includes the ST-Blast racket—a model making its debut in this line—and the high-end Slam shoes.
The launch campaign focuses on the technical development of the products, their quality, and the close connection with athletes to help them reach peak performance. Throughout the creation process of this special collection, Juanlu has worked closely with Joma, sharing the same goal: to prove that the best technical product is born from real experience on the court, facing every challenge.
A development process with Juanlu Esbrí’s stamp
The launch of the special collection for Juanlu Esbrí continues Joma’s commitment to showcasing what goes into making a product. The reality goes far beyond simple design: it is the result of a meticulous technical process in which Juanlu Esbrí himself has actively participated. Every detail has been fine-tuned to meet the demands of professional padel.
The racket development process was structured in three key stages:
New ST-Blast racket
The ST-Blast padel racket is designed for intermediate and advanced players seeking both power and precision in every shot. Its hybrid shape, combined with a wide sweet spot and a medium-high balance, provides comfort during play without sacrificing power in aerial and offensive strokes.
Among its technical features, the racket face is made with FLEXSHIELD 12k carbon fiber, ensuring resistance and high performance. This surface incorporates ROTATION technology, a 3D embossed finish that enhances power in striking. It also includes the VIBRA-OUT system, which reduces vibrations and increases comfort during play.
The FLEXO Black EVA core delivers excellent ball rebound, while the hole pattern is carefully designed to boost core durability. Meanwhile, the EXO COUNTER frame provides stability and strength, making the ST-Blast a reliable tool even in demanding matches.
The racket’s performance has been tested and certified by the Atria laboratory, strengthening its position as a benchmark product for high-level padel.
Slam shoes
The classic Slam padel shoes combine top performance with advanced technology. Designed for professional padel, they deliver great stability, grip, and cushioning, making them the choice of elite players such as Juanlu Esbrí.
Their upper is made of breathable mesh and incorporates the VTS ventilation system, which regulates sweat buildup, along with the JOMA SPORTECH thermo-sealed adjustment system, eliminating friction zones. The front section features thermo-sealed reinforcements that increase durability and protect the area.
The midsole consists of REACTIVE BALL material in the lower part, which absorbs impacts and provides energy return, while the denser phylon on top and the STABILIS piece add stability and prevent unwanted twisting. Additionally, FLEXO lines on the forefoot improve flexibility and support natural movements ergonomically.
Finally, the DURABILITY rubber outsole, with its herringbone (clay) pattern, ensures the necessary grip on slippery surfaces without hindering slides.
