In 2025, HEAD Padel celebrates 25 years of history with the launch of an exclusive collection featuring the ELITE LTD racket, the RETRO PADEL BAG 25TH LTD and TOTE PADEL BAG 25TH LTD, and the RETRO COVER BAG 25TH LTD.
HEAD Padel’s journey began in 1989 when entrepreneur Billy Mosche produced the first licensed rackets in Argentina. However, it was in 2000 that the brand was officially established, driven by Eduardo Vieytes, HEAD’s manager in Argentina, who brought together a team of designers and developers with a clear mission: to push the boundaries of what a padel racket could be.
The first HEAD Padel rackets were made from Kiri wood, a lightweight material exclusive to the forests of Misiones, reinforced with fiberglass resin for strength and style. They quickly gained the trust of professionals, who began writing the first chapters of this story.
Among them was Daniela Álvarez, a leading figure during the padel boom: “I was an ambassador for the sport. I competed, gave lessons, and played exhibitions across the country. I enjoyed every moment,” she recalls nostalgically. Also, Jorge Nicolini, one of the most charismatic players of the era, adds: “Padel was pure madness. New courts were opening all the time, and there were tournaments every weekend. The stands were packed like it was a music concert,” he proudly explains.
Today, 25 years after its official founding, HEAD Padel pays tribute to this journey with an exclusive collection that blends tradition and modernity.
ELITE LTD: a collector’s racket with a retro soul
The centerpiece of this collection is the ELITE LTD, an exclusive racket with only 1,000 units produced worldwide. Inspired by a wooden racket made in Argentina in 1989, it combines a premium retro design with the performance of a next-generation racket.
The collection is completed with the RETRO PADEL BAG 25TH LTD and TOTE PADEL BAG 25TH LTD, as well as a vintage-style cover: the RETRO COVER BAG 25TH LTD. All pieces come in black and brown—the latter inspired by HEAD’s first padel racket—and feature the brand’s original logo as a distinctive detail.
A legacy still in the making
With this commemorative edition, HEAD Padel not only celebrates 25 years of history but also reaffirms its commitment to continue driving innovation and development in padel worldwide. What began as a local passion in Argentina in the late ‘80s has become an international benchmark.
