Joma launches the new Slam Foot Shape: a natural evolution of its iconic padel footwear

  • November 19, 2025

Joma, the leading Spanish sports equipment brand and member of the International Padel Cluster, has announced the launch of Slam Foot Shape, the latest evolution of its renowned Slam padel shoe. This new model incorporates a foot shape design aimed at providing a more natural stride, increased freedom of movement and enhanced court connection, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation focused on performance and player wellbeing.

The launch campaign features Cristina Pedroche, Joma’s barefoot footwear ambassador, who trains regularly with the new Slam Foot Shape. She highlighted how this adaptation improves stability and balance, reduces fatigue and enhances overall comfort during play, particularly beneficial for players beginning their transition toward the foot shape movement.

A proposal that blends innovation, comfort and natural transition

The Slam Foot Shape model has been developed respecting the natural anatomy of the foot, offering a progressive alternative for players who wish to experience a more natural, grounded stride without giving up the safety and support of technical footwear.

Key features include:

  • Technical and breathable upper, made with durable mesh and heat-sealed reinforcements.
  • Antibacterial insole, designed to reduce odour and enhance sweat management.
  • Foot shape last with a wider toe box, offering more space and comfort for the toes.
  • Phylon and rubber sole with a four-millimetre drop, designed to improve agility and reduce injury risk.
  • Stabilising piece, providing extra security while maintaining full freedom of movement.

Complete apparel for a seamless playing experience

The Slam Foot Shape launch is accompanied by a full apparel collection created to complement this new footwear concept. With technical fabrics, contemporary cuts and a strong focus on functionality, the collection aims to deliver a complete experience both on and off the court.

As Joma’s barefoot footwear ambassador, Cristina Pedroche showcases how this equipment line integrates naturally with the Slam Foot Shape model, reinforcing the idea of a more comfortable, conscious and player-centred approach to padel.

With this initiative, Joma reaffirms its commitment to innovation and continues strengthening its contribution to the development of the sport, combining tradition, design and new trends that enhance the playing experience.
