Playtomic and Heineken® 0.0 strengthen the social value of padel through a global partnership

Playtomic and Heineken® 0.0, a member company of the International Padel Cluster, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at highlighting the social essence of padel and reinforcing its position as a sport that fosters genuine connections both on and off the court.

The collaboration will be brought to life through Open Matches by Heineken® 0.0, an initiative that encourages players to join open matches, meet new people and enjoy shared experiences that extend beyond the game itself. The project will be officially launched with an inaugural event in Barcelona from 9 to 14 December, featuring a temporary padel court installed at Moll de Barcelona, an emblematic location that reflects the sport’s ability to transform any space into a global meeting point.

A partnership to strengthen the international padel community

Playtomic, the leading racket sports app with a presence in sixty-six countries and a community of more than 4.7 million players, brings to the partnership a vibrant and continually expanding global network. Its vision of padel as a social sport aligns with Heineken® 0.0’s commitment to fostering shared, responsible and enjoyable experiences.

Bram Westenbrink, Chief Commercial Officer at HEINEKEN, highlighted the natural synergy between both brands and padel’s unique capacity to create meaningful connections. Playtomic Managing Director Antonio Robert reinforced this vision, noting that every match is an opportunity for authentic encounters, an idea both companies aim to elevate through this collaboration.

Open Matches by Heineken® 0.0: a social experience on and off the court

Open Matches represent Playtomic’s most social feature, enabling players to create and join open games at all levels. Through this partnership, players worldwide will be able to participate in matches powered by Heineken® 0.0, strengthening the sport’s social dimension and promoting an inclusive and dynamic playing environment.

The Barcelona activation will allow Playtomic users to book the temporary court exclusively through the app, turning each match into a unique opportunity to meet new players and share the sport’s social spirit.
