Pádel Nuestro to Open a New Flagship Store in a Prime Area of Barcelona

Specialized retailer Pádel Nuestro is preparing the opening of a new flagship store in Barcelona, located at 257 Rosselló Street, just a few meters from Passeig de Gràcia, one of the city’s most exclusive commercial areas. The opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

The new store will be located directly opposite the flagship store of Tennis-Point, one of the leading racket sports retail operators in the city, reinforcing direct competition in one of the most demanding retail locations in the country.

Opening in a premium retail area responds to a strategy that goes beyond immediate commercial return and aims to strengthen brand visibility and positioning in high-prestige environments. These locations are typically occupied by major mono-brand stores such as Nikeadidas, and Puma, as well as specialists such as The North FaceColumbia, and Salomon.

This opening is part of the growth strategy of Grupo Padel XXI, the business group that includes Pádel Nuestro and has established itself as one of the largest omnichannel distributors of padel equipment worldwide, closing 2025 with revenue close to ninety million euros. Until now, the brand’s presence in the Barcelona province was limited to stores in Badalona and Sabadell, so this new location represents a qualitative step forward in brand positioning.

The group already operates several stores in Madrid with different formats and locations, including prime areas and secondary commercial zones, as part of a diversified coverage strategy.

Project viability will depend on balancing location costs, competitive pressure, and the ability to deliver a differentiated value proposition that justifies in-store purchasing over online channels. In any case, the opening of a large specialized retail space in a prime location represents a positive development for padel’s visibility within the retail landscape.
