The associated company greenset, which has announced the appointment of Aleix Escassi Pascual as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 13, 2026.
This appointment, supported by BD Capital and carried out alongside co-founders Fernando Cánovas and Javier Sánchez Vicario, reflects the company’s intention to strengthen its leadership structure at a key moment to enter a new phase of growth.
A highly experienced executive profile
Aleix Escassi brings more than 25 years of experience in general management and business transformation, having led companies across different sectors.
Prior to joining greenset, he served as CEO of Grupo Excens, an industrial holding company active in sectors such as robotics, automotive, recycling and sports. He previously held senior management roles at Banco Sabadell and worked in strategic consulting at Europraxis (Indra).
He holds a degree and MBA from ESADE, as well as a CEMS Master in International Management from Università Bocconi in Milan.
A growing sector with strong opportunities
The market for urban and racquet sports is experiencing significant global growth, driven by increasing sports participation and the development of new facilities.
In this context, greenset has established itself as a specialised player in the design, manufacturing and development of sports infrastructures, working with private clubs, public administrations and sports developers across multiple markets.
The company is actively involved in projects related to padel, tennis and pickleball, sports that continue to expand across Europe and other international markets.
