Playtomic has unveiled a new digital campaign starring Rafa Nadal, who has been an ambassador and shareholder of the company since 2024. The initiative adopts a light-hearted and relatable approach to showcase how padel has become a regular part of everyday life for millions of players around the world.
The campaign follows the Spanish champion through different moments of his daily routine, from breakfast to searching for a court to play a padel match. Throughout the video, a narrator attempts to turn each ordinary moment into a heroic sporting achievement, creating a humorous contrast with Nadal’s natural and down-to-earth personality.
Built around the message "Even Rafa Nadal finds his perfect match on Playtomic", the campaign highlights one of the platform’s core values: making it easy for any player to book courts, organise matches and connect with new playing partners, regardless of their level or experience.
According to Felix Ruiz, CEO and co-founder of Playtomic, the campaign aims to connect with the reality of everyday players while demonstrating how technology can simplify access to sport. “We wanted to tell a story that feels familiar to anyone who plays padel. Rafa represents values that fit perfectly with Playtomic, but this time we wanted to see him in everyday situations, enjoying the sport in a natural way,” he explained.
The campaign builds on the partnership established between Playtomic and Rafa Nadal in 2024, when the former world number one joined the company’s shareholder group. Since then, both parties have worked together to support the growth of racquet sports and expand participation across international markets.
The launch also comes at a time of significant global growth for padel. In this context, Playtomic continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading technology platforms in the sector, connecting players, clubs and operators through tools that simplify court bookings and match organisation.
The campaign has been launched across social media channels and will be supported by additional content pieces developed around the same creative concept.
