David Lloyd Clubs and HEAD renew their strategic partnership in the UK and expand their collaboration across Europe

  • July 29, 2026

David Lloyd Clubs has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with HEAD UK, extending a highly successful collaboration that began in 2022. The new agreement, which runs until the end of 2028, will continue to strengthen the company's racquet sports offering for members across the UK and Europe while creating new commercial opportunities and improving operational efficiency.

The relationship between the two organisations, however, dates back much further. HEAD Spain first partnered with David Lloyd Clubs in 2005 at David Lloyd Club Turó in Barcelona, giving the two organisations more than two decades of collaboration and establishing a long-term strategic partnership.

The renewed agreement supports David Lloyd Clubs' investment strategy in tennis and padel. New initiatives include exclusive exhibition events featuring Top 30 professional players, immersive trips for members to HEAD's global headquarters in Austria, access to leading ATP and WTA tournaments, and exclusive discounts on HEAD products available through the David Lloyd Clubs app.

In return, David Lloyd Clubs will continue to grant HEAD exclusivity across purchasing, coaching equipment, digital advertising and promotional activities. The partnership will also be strengthened through co-branded tournaments, ongoing digital campaigns and dedicated HEAD Ambassador Days for members.

Simon Pearson, Group Head of Racquet Sports at David Lloyd Clubs, commented: "We are delighted to extend our relationship with HEAD, a brand that shares our ambition for excellence and innovation in racquet sports. The alignment between our two organisations, whether through premium member experiences, elite coaching support or product integration, is clear and compelling. This renewed partnership strengthens our position as Europe's leading racquet sports provider and delivers fantastic added value for our members."

Stefano Cavuto, Head of Racquet Sports Balls & Sponsorship at HEAD, added: "We are very pleased that this partnership, which began successfully in Spain, can now be extended across Europe. Relationships with clubs have always been a key part of our global strategy, as has our specialist focus across all racquet sports. David Lloyd embodies all of this, and we look forward to working together to provide its members with the very best experience through our brand."

David Lloyd Clubs remains Europe's leading tennis operator, with 1,600 courts across 149 clubs in nine countries. This renewed agreement marks another chapter in a long-standing strategic partnership focused on driving the development of racquet sports through innovation, technology and premium experiences for members.
