The Padel Galis new showroom and innovation laboratory, located next to its factory and offices in Silla, covers 550 m² and features a fully operational Atlas court for testing different turf, lighting and equipment solutions in real playing conditions.
An innovation lab built around a fully operational court
Padel Galis has launched Galis Lab, a new space designed to bring manufacturing, innovation and product experience closer to the different stakeholders across the padel ecosystem.
Located next to the company’s manufacturing facilities and offices in Silla, Valencia, the space covers 550 m² and is centered around a fully operational Atlas padel court.
The court allows customers, partners, players and professionals to test and compare different configurations in real playing conditions. It features several lighting solutions marketed by Padel Galis, while different turf models are installed on each half of the court to facilitate direct comparison.
The aim is to offer an experience that goes beyond a traditional showroom: understanding how a court is built, experiencing a finished court and exploring the different customization and equipment options available.
Innovation and product testing
One of Galis Lab’s main objectives is to provide a testing environment for new products and technologies related to padel courts.
Padel Galis’ team, players and partners can use the facilities to test different solutions and directly assess how individual components can influence the playing experience.
The company has also made the space available to startups and companies developing sports-related solutions, with some already using the court to test their products in a real-world environment.
“At Padel Galis, we believe in innovation. That is why we invite companies developing new solutions to use our facilities to test their products, present them to us and, in some cases, collaborate with our team.” Juan Larraz, CEO of Padel Galis
This approach is closely aligned with the company’s positioning and its “Crafting the Padel Court of the Future” claim, focused on continuously developing new solutions for the evolution of the padel court.
A tool for customers and professionals
Galis Lab is also intended to help clubs, distributors and industry professionals compare the different solutions available before starting a project.
The opportunity to physically experience materials, lighting, turf, accessories and configurations provides customers with information that is difficult to convey through catalogues alone.
“A padel court may always look the same, but there are many variables that change the playing experience, particularly lighting and turf. At Galis Lab, customers can compare all our lighting solutions, as well as see different turf samples, accessories and customization options available for a padel court.” Salva Segura, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Padel Galis
A meeting point for the padel ecosystem
In addition to its showroom and laboratory functions, Galis Lab has been designed as a meeting point for the different profiles that make up the padel industry.
Clubs, partners, suppliers, coaches, players, distributors and other professionals can use the facilities to test products, discover new developments, create content, hold meetings and take part in presentations and events.
The space also includes:
The showroom has already hosted meetings for around 60 people, including Padel Galis’ annual team meeting.
Already operational, with new initiatives underway
Although the project is still being equipped, Galis Lab is already operational and open to visitors, with the court available for both testing and playing.
Padel Galis expects the space to be fully equipped by October 2026, when all its planned functionalities will be in place.
The company is also working on new initiatives and collaborations to be held at the facilities over the coming months, strengthening Galis Lab’s role as a meeting point connecting industry, product, innovation and the padel community.
