Joma and the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) have reached a sponsorship agreement under which the Spanish sports brand becomes the Official Footwear of the FEP, strengthening its presence within the national federated padel circuit.
The agreement includes Joma’s presence across events and competitions organised by the federation, as well as the supply of technical footwear to different groups involved in federated competitions.
Under the agreement, the brand will equip referees and technical staff during federation tournaments and provide footwear to members of the Spanish National Padel Teams for various official commitments.
The partnership represents another step in Joma’s strategy to strengthen its position within a sport that continues to expand both in Spain and internationally.
An international growth strategy
The agreement with the FEP adds to Joma’s growing presence across the international padel circuit.
The company already acts as official footwear partner at several Premier Padel events, including tournaments in Valladolid, Dubai, Germany and London, while maintaining agreements with international organisations such as the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) and the Asia Pacific Padel Tour.
Joma also has a growing presence through players and professionals connected to the international circuit, including Juanlu Esbrí and Verónica Virseda, as well as coaches Juani Mieres and Gustavo Pratto and former world number one Carolina Navarro.
Greater presence across the federated ecosystem
By becoming the FEP’s Official Footwear partner, Joma is now further strengthening its presence within the Spanish federated padel ecosystem, gaining another platform for visibility and direct engagement with national competitions.
The move forms part of a broader strategy combining sponsorships, institutional agreements, competition partnerships and collaborations with players and professionals, as the company continues to develop its padel category.
Founded in 1965 by Fructuoso López, Joma is currently present in more than 140 countries and operates through eight international subsidiaries.
The company supplied footwear and apparel to 15% of athletes competing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
