The sports laboratory Testea Padel applies its testing methodology to the Testea Guide Padel 2026, objectively analysing the handling, feeling and energy return of six models from Decathlon’s padel brand.
The Testea Guide Padel 2026 places the technical evaluation of padel equipment back in the spotlight through an analysis carried out by Testea Sport Lab, an International Padel Cluster member and laboratory specialised in the testing and characterisation of sports products.
For this edition, Testea analysed six Kuikma padel rackets, the padel brand of Decathlon, applying a laboratory methodology designed to identify and compare different performance characteristics across the models.
The aim is to provide objective technical information on racket performance, giving both manufacturers and players a clearer understanding of the characteristics associated with each product.
The tests conducted by Testea Sport Lab classify the six models according to three main parameters: handling, feeling and energy return.
These indicators make it possible to identify differences between the models and relate them to different playing profiles, from rackets focused on manoeuvrability and comfort to options with a stronger offensive orientation.
The guide therefore provides an approach based on data obtained through laboratory testing, complementing the subjective assessment of sensations on court.
Testing technology as a tool for the padel industry
