Realturf brings its artificial turf technology to two of padel’s major international venues

  • September 29, 2026

After being part of two of the most important events on the international professional padel circuit – Bordeaux and Miami – Realturf is strengthening its position as a leader in the development of surfaces for top-level competition.

During the 2026 season, the company’s artificial turf solutions have been featured at two iconic venues on the Premier Padel calendar: the Miami P1 and the Bordeaux P2. These two tournaments have very different characteristics but are united by the same requirement: offering to the world’s best players a surface capable of guaranteeing performance, safety and consistency of play.

In Miami, the PGR by Belapadel court, developed in collaboration with Padel Galis and Fernando Belasteguín, was chosen for the tournament courts. Months later, at the Patinoire de Bordeaux Mériadeck – a venue originally designed as an ice ring – the Play Easy Grey padel grass accepted the challenge of adapting to a highly demanding indoor environment. Both systems featured Realturf’s textured turf technology, designed to promote a smoother and more consistent game.

Behind these surfaces lies the production capacity of Realturf Factory, where artificial turf models are manufactured to meet the demands of professional competition. Production in widths of up to 5 metres reduces the number of joints on the pitch, minimising the use of adhesives and joining tapes during installation. This results in a more uniform surface and optimised installation processes – aspects that are particularly important for temporary installations and large-scale events.

Through its involvement in leading international tournaments such as those in Miami and Bordeaux, Realturf continues to drive innovation in sports surfaces and to provide clubs and players with the same playing experience enjoyed by the top professionals players on the circuit.
