Greenset to install six courts at Dubai Premier Padel P1, four of them above an Olympic-sized swimming pool

  • October 27, 2026

Greenset will be the official court supplier for the Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1, which will bring together some of the world's leading male and female players at Dubai's Hamdan Sports Complex in November. The Spanish manufacturer will assemble and install six courts for the tournament, four of them above the venue's Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The project presents a significant technical challenge, as the complex, originally designed to host aquatic competitions, will be transformed to accommodate an international padel event. According to information provided by the company, the conversion will involve removing more than 6,250 cubic metres of water from the competition and diving pools, as well as deploying nearly 49,000 m² of temporary infrastructure.

Against this backdrop, installing the six courts will require precise planning and technical coordination, particularly for the four structures positioned above the Olympic-sized pool.

Technic: panoramic courts designed for professional competition

All six courts in Dubai will feature Greenset's Technic model, designed for professional padel and characterised by its panoramic 360° structure. This design provides spectators and broadcast crews with clear views of the action from different angles.

Its main features include:

  • 360° panoramic design: provides unobstructed views of the game from different positions around the court.

  • Sonic Shield acoustic system: Greenset technology designed to reduce impact noise and help create a more controlled acoustic environment during play.

  • Materials and manufacturing processes: features recyclable galvanised steel and automated painting processes, alongside optimised logistics aimed at reducing the project's environmental impact.

  • Specialist installation: Greenset's own teams will handle assembly and component quality control, particularly important for the four courts being installed above the swimming pool.

The company designs and manufactures its courts in Spain and carries out installations using its own teams. This approach allows Greenset to oversee the process from production to final assembly and adapt each project to the specific characteristics of the venue.

A project strengthening Greenset's international presence

The Dubai P1 installation forms part of Greenset's international expansion and its involvement in leading professional competitions. The transformation of the Hamdan Sports Complex also highlights the challenges involved in adapting sports venues originally designed for other disciplines to meet the requirements of professional padel.

Fernando Cánovas Llopis, Managing Director of Greenset, says the project demonstrates the company's ability to manage technically complex installations while maintaining its quality standards under unique conditions. The company believes its role as the tournament's official court supplier will strengthen its presence at major international sporting events and reinforce its commitment to the global growth of padel.
