Joma unveils its 2027 padel racket collection across three ranges: EVO, Pro and Iconic

  • November 06, 2026

The brand introduces the new EVO line and reorganises its catalogue around different carbon compositions, racket geometries and core densities to suit a variety of playing styles.

Joma has unveiled its new padel racket collection for 2027, structured around three main ranges: EVO, Pro and Iconic. The collection combines different materials, geometries and technical configurations to offer options for players with varying preferences and approaches to the game.

The main new addition is EVO, a new range joining the existing Pro and Iconic lines. The collection features different carbon compositions -8K, 12K and 3K- alongside varying core densities and balance points, allowing the feel and playing characteristics of each model to be tailored to different requirements.

Product development is based on research conducted at J Lab and collaboration with professional players. Key areas of focus include frame geometry and weight distribution, both of which influence racket performance during offensive and defensive phases of play.

The collection also incorporates technologies designed to enhance the playing experience. Multilayer structures and specific EVA compounds aim to absorb vibrations and improve comfort, while Aerobump Tech and Speed Hole System are designed to optimise airflow and improve manoeuvrability. Meanwhile, 3D Spin and Rough Touch focus on improving ball contact and spin generation.

Joma has worked with players and ambassadors including Vero Virseda, Juanlu Esbrí, Alberto García Trabanco, Carolina Navarro and Juani Mieres. Their experience in competition helps bring the demands of professional padel into the product development process.

EVO: the main new addition for 2027

The new EVO range launches with two models featuring 8K carbon, each designed to suit a different playing approach.

  • Gold Evo HRD: aimed at offensive players looking to take the initiative and finish points. It combines a Black EVA Hard core, hybrid shape and medium-high balance to deliver a firm feel and a response geared towards attacking shots.

  • Tournament Evo SFT: the control-oriented option within the new range. It features 8K carbon, a Black EVA Soft core, hybrid shape and medium balance, a configuration designed to provide a softer feel and a manageable, stable response.

Pro: performance for advanced players

The Pro range maintains its focus on advanced and competitive players. Its models feature 12K carbon faces and frames made entirely from carbon fibre, with different hardness configurations to suit individual playing preferences.

The range includes three models:

  • Hyper Pro: adopts an offensive approach, with a diamond shape and medium-high balance. Its configuration is designed to support attacking shots and a high-tempo style of play.

  • Blast Pro: features a hybrid diamond geometry intended to combine finishing power with versatility. It is available in an HRD version associated with Juanlu Esbrí and an SFT version linked to Alberto García Trabanco.

  • Valkiria Pro: features a round hybrid shape and medium balance, prioritising manoeuvrability, precision and control. It is available in Hard and Soft versions associated with Carolina Navarro.

The main difference between the HRD and SFT versions lies in their core composition: Black EVA Hard in the former, providing a firmer feel, and Black EVA Soft in the latter, offering greater elasticity and comfort.

Iconic: established models with a balanced approach

The third range, Iconic, brings together established models within Joma's catalogue. Its 3K carbon construction and use of Black EVA Soft are designed to deliver a more elastic feel and balanced performance.

It includes two models:

  • Slam Pro Iconic: associated with Juani Mieres, it combines a diamond shape with a low balance point. This configuration aims to retain offensive capabilities while maintaining manoeuvrability in defence and during rallies.

  • Tournament Pro Iconic: features a round hybrid shape and medium balance. It is aimed at experienced players who prioritise control, precision and consistency when building points.

With this new structure, Joma organises its 2027 collection around three ranges with distinct identities. The addition of EVO expands the catalogue, while Pro and Iconic continue to offer options for different player profiles, from those prioritising attacking performance to those seeking a greater balance between control and manoeuvrability.
