On April 1, 2025, the 5th General Assembly of the International Padel Cluster (CIP) will take place in the Auditorium Room of ICEX, in Madrid.
The event, which will bring together authorities and institutional organizations, will begin with a welcome from ICEX. The opening will be led by the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD), featuring Félix Jordán, General Director of the Fundación Deporte Joven. This will be followed by an address from a representative of the International Padel Federation (FIP), and then Mireia Álvarez, President of CIP, will present the Presidential Report.
Next, Jaume Ferrer, CIP's Technical Secretary/Coordinator, will present the Economic Report. At this stage, the financial statements for 2024 and the budget for 2025 will be submitted for approval. Additionally, a review of CIP’s activities and achievements over the past year will highlight key advancements and challenges overcome. The action plan for 2025 will also be presented, outlining new initiatives aimed at driving the growth and internationalization of padel worldwide.
Following a coffee break, Jorge Caña, Vice President and Head of the CIP Court Division, will discuss the potential transition of the UNE Standard to an ISO Standard. Then, the new CIP members will introduce their brands.
Later, Alex Ponseti, CIP Board Member and Managing Director of the Padel World Summit, will present the second edition of the PWS, the largest international event for professionals in the padel industry, set to take place from May 27 to 29, 2025, in Barcelona. Finally, Martina Claus, Head of Firamunich, will discuss the Padel Village at ISPO Munich.
At the conclusion of the Assembly, a finger lunch will be held, providing attendees with the opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen relationships within the padel sector.
