The Padel World Summit 2025 kicks off this tuesday in Barcelona

Barcelona becomes the world capital of padel starting Tuesday with the celebration of the second edition of the Padel World Summit, the largest trade event in the world of this sport, jointly organized by the International Padel Cluster (CIP) and Fira de Barcelona.

The doors of Hall 6 at the Gran Via venue, home of the Padel World Summit 2025, will open at 9:30 a.m. with an offering of more than 120 exhibitors, a hundred speakers, and a total of eight courts, which have transformed this facility into a large indoor padel club.

At 11:00 a.m., on Court 2, the opening ceremony will take place, with the participation of the Sports Minister of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Berni Álvarez; the Sports Councillor of the Barcelona City Council, David Escudé; the CEO of Fira de Barcelona, Constantí Serrallonga; and the director of the summit, Àlex Ponseti.

Following the speeches, a tour will be made through the various stands of the exhibiting brands at the Padel World Summit, which features the participation of leading companies such as adidas, Babolat, greenset, Head, Joma, MejorSet, Mondo, Munich, Portico, Padel Galis, and Playtomic, among others.

The padel boom

The first edition of the Padel World Summit in Barcelona also features the Padel Global Conference, which will address issues that define the challenges of a sport in full sporting and social bloom, such as its unstoppable growth worldwide, improvements in player training, and the growing business opportunities it offers.

On the agenda, notable participants include the CEO of Babolat, Eric Babolat, on May 27 at 10:30 a.m.; Argentine Fernando Belasteguín, considered the best padel player in history, on May 28 at 4:45 p.m.; and Serbian player Bojana Jovanovic, also on May 28 at 11:15 a.m.

The event will also feature a startup area, the Innovation Arena, where emerging companies will present their technological solutions, and the Investor & Business Forum, which will connect investors and entrepreneurs seeking business opportunities.

The opening hours of the Padel World Summit are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except on May 29, the last day of the event, when it will close at 3:00 p.m. Hall 6 of the Gran Via venue at Fira de Barcelona is accessed via Foc Street, No. 9.
