The International Padel Cluster (CIP) has appointed Michel Gogniat as the organization’s new Technical Secretary -a role equivalent to cluster manager- who officially assumed his duties last Monday. This appointment is part of the Cluster’s strategy to reinforce its operational structure at a key stage in the growth and internationalization of the padel sector.
Michel Gogniat brings more than twenty-five years of international experience in the sports and outdoor industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior management positions in leading brands as well as in European and international professional associations, leading projects related to business development, international expansion, and strategic management.
His incorporation aims to strengthen the Cluster’s operational capacity, boost its international projection, and consolidate new high-impact initiatives and services for member companies. These action lines are aligned with the 2026-2028 Strategic Plan, which will be submitted for approval at the next General Assembly and will define the organization’s roadmap for its next stage of development.
In a context of increasing internationalization of padel and growing complexity within the business ecosystem, the CIP continues to advance its role as a platform for sector coordination and representation, promoting collaboration among manufacturers, distributors, operators, and investors.
Since last week, the new Technical Secretary has been fully operational and available to establish direct contact with member companies, with the objective of accelerating projects, strengthening dialogue with the industry, and generating new opportunities for cooperation and collective growth.
