The third edition of the event co-organised by the CIP and Fira de Barcelona will continue until May 28 with expectations of even higher visitor numbers and business activity.

Padel World Summit 2026 officially opened its third edition with a strong attendance of professionals, companies and international padel industry representatives during the first day held at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona.

The event, co-organised by the Clúster Internacional de Pádel and Fira de Barcelona, will run until Thursday, May 28, and has started with highly positive impressions in terms of visitor flow, business activity and networking opportunities throughout the exhibition.

Although the official attendance figures will be released once the event concludes, organisers perceived a higher turnout during the opening day compared to the first day of the previous edition, further confirming the international growth and evolution of the summit.

In addition, forecasts for the second day point towards an even greater increase in professional activity and attendance, in what is expected to become one of the busiest days of the exhibition.

The official opening ceremony of Padel World Summit 2026 took place on the greenset Court 2, and featured the participation of institutional representatives and leading figures connected to both sport and industry.

Among the attending authorities were David Escudé, Councillor for Sports at Barcelona City Council and President of the Barcelona Sports Institute; Mireia Álvarez, President of the International Padel Cluster; Constantí Serrallonga, General Director of Fira de Barcelona; Àlex Ponseti, Director of Padel World Summit; and Berni Álvarez, Minister of Sports of the Government of Catalonia.

Throughout the opening day, attendees were able to explore the exhibition area, participate in the first conference sessions and establish professional connections with companies, operators, manufacturers, clubs, institutions and investors from multiple international markets.

This year’s edition brings together more than 140 exhibitors from over 30 countries, further consolidating Barcelona as one of the leading global meeting points for the economic, business and sporting development of padel.

With this new edition, the International Padel Cluster continues strengthening its role as a strategic driver of the internationalisation, professionalisation and sustainable growth of the global padel industry.
