The International Padel Cluster (IPC) will participate in the third edition of Padelness e Sport, taking place in Naples from November 20 to 22, 2026, following the collaboration agreement reached with the event organisers. Italy, the world's second-largest padel market with more than 10,000 courts, represents one of the Cluster's key strategic markets for international development.
Padelness e Sport is Italy's leading exhibition for the sector and will hold its third edition at the Mostra d'Oltremare exhibition centre in Naples. As part of the agreement, the IPC will have its own 12 m² stand to showcase its international network to visitors and exhibitors. In addition, Cluster member companies will benefit from VIP invitations and a 50% discount on exhibition stand rental if they wish to participate in the event.
Originally launched as a padel-focused exhibition, Padelness has expanded its scope for this third edition under the name Padelness e Sport, incorporating fitness, boxing and martial arts, dance, team sports and wellness. The event forms part of Naples' programme as European Capital of Sport 2026 and its preparations for the America's Cup 2027. The second edition welcomed more than 16,000 visitors, 100 exhibitors, and 12,000 m² of exhibition space across four halls, alongside an international FIP Silver tournament, more than 160 masterclasses, and 13 conferences.
Italy, a strategic market for padel
With around 10,200 courts and more than 5 million players and enthusiasts, Italy is now the world's second-largest padel market, behind only Spain. The country also hosts two Premier Padel tournaments: the BNL Italy Major in Rome and the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, held at Milan's Allianz Cloud. A market of this size and maturity is strategically important for the Cluster's international growth.
Italy also plays an active role in the international standardisation work promoted by the IPC. UNI, the Italian standardisation body, recently published UNI 12023:2026, the national standard for padel courts, developed together with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP). UNI has also announced that it will contribute this expertise to the future ISO 25808 standard, currently under development within ISO/TC 83, a proposal that was originally promoted by the IPC itself.
The IPC's participation in Padelness e Sport 2026 will help raise the Cluster's profile within the Italian padel industry while also providing an opportunity to identify a future International Development Partner (IDP) for Italy and to strengthen relationships with new companies in a market where the Cluster is currently represented by only a limited number of members.
