The Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) has released key information regarding its electoral regulations and timeline, outlining the upcoming milestones that will determine whether there will be a new president or if the current president, Ramón Morcillo, will continue in office.
The electoral process began on September 16, when the Board of Directors convened to call for elections to the General Assembly, transitioning the Board into a Management Commission and forming the Electoral Board. Multiple processes related to voting were also initiated.
Candidates have until September 30 to submit their applications for the General Assembly. On October 1, the provisional list of candidates will be made public, and the final list will be released on October 4.
On November 7, the Electoral Committee will be established, and elections to the General Assembly will take place. The next day, November 8, provisional results will be announced, followed by a period for submitting appeals to the Administrative Court of Sports.
Final election results will be published on November 13, at which point the candidacy period for the presidency and the Delegate Committee will open, running until November 25. From that date until November 28, appeals can be submitted. On November 29, the final list of presidential candidates will be announced, and if only one candidate runs, they will be appointed president. In the case of multiple candidates, the General Assembly will convene on December 14 to hold the elections for the presidency and Delegate Committee. The final results will be revealed on December 18.
