The FIP Seniors Euro Padel Cup 2025 to be held in Cartagena

  • June 25, 2025

The second edition of the FIP Seniors Euro Padel Cup, the successor to the FIP Seniors European Padel Championships, will take place from September 29 to October 4 in Cartagena, one of Spain’s most historic cities.

The event is organized by the International Padel Federation (FIP), with the support of Padel Europe, the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) and the Padel Federation of the Region of Murcia (FPRM). It reinforces FIP’s mission to promote the present and future of padel while honoring its roots, offering the opportunity to compete for a European title to those who have helped take the sport to new heights.

The organization of the FIP Seniors Euro Padel Cup is a source of special pride for us,” said FIP President Luigi Carraro. “This is an event that fully reflects a principle we strongly believe in: in sport -and in padel in particular- talent has no age. FIP’s senior competitions are a valuable asset for each continental federation, as they highlight the experience and technical and tactical skills acquired over a lifetime, turning them into an inspiring example. It will be a great padel spectacle and a legacy that speaks directly to the younger generations, who, by observing and learning from the achievements of those who came before them, will be able to inherit a legacy of immense value.”

In Cartagena, matches will be played on eight courts specially installed at the seaport, with an additional sixteen courts available, totaling twenty-four. This exceptional setting will host Europe’s top male and female players, divided into the following age categories: +35, +40, +45, +50, and +55.

As usual, the tournament will include two competitions: one for national teams, with 24 men’s and 24 women’s teams competing for the titles, and another for pairs, with two pairs per category representing each participating country.

The Cartagena edition follows the 2023 tournament held at the Camilo Cano Sports City in La Nucía (Alicante), which brought together nearly 500 athletes from 17 different countries.
