After more than five decades as the international epicenter of sport and outdoor in Munich, the ISPO trade fair has announced a historic shift: starting in twenty twenty-six, the annual event will move to Amsterdam.
The change of city reflects a pursuit of openness, creativity, and international connectivity, values that Amsterdam naturally embodies. The organization aims to transform the fair into a platform that not only showcases products but also broadens perspectives and fosters new collaboration opportunities between established brands and emerging innovators.
To carry out this transition, Messe München and Raccoon Media Group have created a joint venture that will assume full operational management beginning with ISPO 2025, under the direction of Michael Andrew Seaman and James Douglas Emslie. According to the organization, this move ensures that ISPO will continue to serve as a global meeting point for the sports, outdoor, and snow industries, maintaining its role as a catalyst for innovation.
The next edition of ISPO in Amsterdam will take place from November 3 to 5, 2026, at the RAI Exhibition Centre, featuring a more agile and focused format with an enhanced global reach.
