Padel continues to strengthen its international positioning with a new strategic milestone: it will be an official medal sport at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) 2026, taking place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from December 13 to 21, 2026.
The announcement, made by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), further reinforces padel’s presence within the international multi-sport ecosystem and consolidates its growth across the Asian continent, following its recent inclusion in the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.
