The UK padel market will take a major step forward in 2027 with the launch of PadelXpo, the first large-scale national event designed to bring together the entire padel ecosystem in one unified space.
The event will take place on 5–6 June 2027 at the NEC Birmingham, bringing together players, fans, brands, clubs, operators and industry leaders in a high-energy and experiential format.
The launch already features a strong line-up of sporting figures, celebrities and industry stakeholders, positioning PadelXpo as one of the key platforms supporting the continued growth of padel in the UK.
Padel has experienced rapid expansion across the country, with participation now exceeding one million players and more than 1,500 courts in operation nationwide. Despite this growth, the market has lacked a single platform connecting sport, business and culture.
PadelXpo has been created to fill that gap, acting as a central hub for the UK padel ecosystem, bringing together participation, culture and commercial opportunity.
Over two days, the event will feature demo courts, tournaments and coaching activity alongside a large-scale exhibition hosting more than 200 brands across equipment, apparel, technology, nutrition, wellness and lifestyle.
A dedicated Show Court will host exhibition matches and tournaments featuring professional players, elite athletes, creators and celebrity guests, with a charity component integrated into the programme.
Confirmed names include Brit Award winner and rapper Aitch, comedian Jason Manford, former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan OBE, Olympians Chemmy Alcott, Montell Douglas and Gail Emms, alongside GB padel player Nikhil Mohindra and Sky Sports presenters, with additional names to be announced.
The project is backed by multiple industry stakeholders, with Palair as founding partner, alongside Inclusive Padel Tour, The Padel Foundation, JM Academy, Sports Insight, PadelNation, Eutopia Agency and ISPO.
PadelXpo is launched by Raccoon Media Group, a fast-growing events and media company specialising in high-growth participation markets.
CEO Mike Seaman highlights the need for a unified platform that reflects the scale and momentum of padel in the UK.
