Padel attracts growing interest from investment funds in the United States

  • July 02, 2026

The US padel market continues to mature and is increasingly attracting the attention of investment funds and specialised capital. The emergence of dedicated investment vehicles, new financing platforms and more structured business models highlights how padel is evolving beyond rapid participation growth into a long-term investment opportunity.

Over recent months, several initiatives have illustrated this trend. One of them is the launch by Thesis Driven of a database designed to connect racquet sports projects -including padel, tennis and pickleball clubs- with investors interested in financing new developments, creating a more structured pathway between capital and club operators.

At the same time, Sunrise Padel Capital, a Miami-based firm exclusively focused on padel investments, continues to expand its activity. After completing its first fund with investments in clubs across cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Denver, the company has launched a second fund targeting 50 million dollars. The new vehicle focuses on both padel-related real estate assets and businesses operating within the wider ecosystem, including club operators, technology companies and service providers.

The market is also seeing the emergence of franchise concepts such as Conquer Padel Club, which offers protected territories and a recurring membership-based business model similar to those widely adopted across the fitness industry.

Meanwhile, Reserve Padel continues to strengthen its business model by combining premium clubs, proprietary events, partnerships with leading international brands and real estate development linked to its facilities, reinforcing padel's growing appeal as an investment asset.

From an investment perspective, these developments reflect growing interest in businesses capable of generating recurring revenue, scalable operations and value backed by real estate assets—characteristics that are increasingly attractive to institutional investors and private capital.

For the industry as a whole, this trend represents another step towards the professionalisation of the global padel industry. The arrival of specialised investment is expected to accelerate infrastructure development, support business expansion and encourage increasingly sophisticated business models, while also raising expectations regarding management, profitability and long-term scalability.
