Lidl has expanded its padel offering with the launch of a new limited-edition collection from its sports brand CRIVIT, developed in collaboration with tennis legend Stefanie Graf. The new range includes a high-performance padel racket and International Padel Federation (FIP)-approved balls, reinforcing the German retailer's commitment to making padel more accessible to a wider audience.
Following the success of the "Find Your Move" campaign, CRIVIT is taking another step into the racquet sports segment by combining technical performance, high-quality materials and strong value for money.
A racket designed to make padel more accessible
The new CRIVIT 12K Carbon Pro has been developed to provide an effective balance between power, control and manoeuvrability. Manufactured using 12K carbon, the racket has been engineered to deliver stability, durability and consistent performance for players across different skill levels.
The model features a teardrop shape, a weight of approximately 370 grams and a neutral balance. Its main technical features include the 12K Carbon Tube System, Power Core bridge, high-density HD Foam core and Vibration Lock System, designed to improve comfort by reducing vibrations during play.
The racket is completed with a matte finish, silver detailing, orange design accents, a non-slip grip, wrist safety strap and a protective neoprene cover.
FIP-approved padel balls
The collection also includes new FIP-approved padel balls designed to meet official competition standards. Manufactured with a high wool content, they have been developed to provide enhanced durability and consistent performance for both training sessions and competitive play.
Making padel accessible to everyone
According to Robin Ruschke, Head of Marketing at Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, the collaboration is intended to encourage more people to take up the sport: "Sports equipment should be developed and manufactured to deliver everyday usability without compromising on quality or performance. The goal of the collaboration between Stefanie Graf and CRIVIT is to make leading an active lifestyle as accessible and straightforward as possible. For us, this partnership is about making physical activity easier to access. We want everyone to feel encouraged to try this sport, regardless of their age, ability or previous experience."
Stefanie Graf also highlighted the social nature of padel: "One of the greatest benefits of racquet sports such as padel and pickleball is that you can enjoy them with friends and family while also meeting new people and building new friendships. André (Agassi) and I love staying active and continuing to challenge ourselves, while enjoying the sense of community that makes padel such a special sport. Both pickleball and padel are truly intergenerational sports that have allowed us to spend quality time with our children and reconnect with friends at this stage of our lives."
Available exclusively at Lidl
The new CRIVIT limited-edition padel collection will be available exclusively at Lidl for a limited time and has been designed to bring high-performance features to a wider range of padel players.
