The innovative online panel DATAPADEL, conceived and developed by DataPadel S.L., is supported by the leading manufacturers of padel rackets and balls and has been providing, since 2016, concrete data on sell-in sales from padel industry brands in Spain.

The panel is based on three data sources. Using wholesale sales figures for padel rackets and balls, the panel provides users with market size in units, total value in euros, and average price across the main defined price ranges, as well as by country. This is made possible through the secure online submission of data by participating brands via a protected platform.

The project is open to all brands operating in the market. The resulting market data is made available to all participating companies through the platform.

Brands subscribed to DataPadel upload their wholesale sales data to the platform on a quarterly basis, including both value and volume figures, at national level and — since early 2019 — also at international level. Data is reported across six price ranges and four annual sales periods: Q1 (first quarter sales), Q2 (second quarter sales), Q3 (third quarter sales), and Q4 (fourth quarter sales).

DataPadel actively collaborates with the International Padel Cluster in sizing and structuring the global padel market. The relationship between DataPadel and the Cluster dates back to the early stages of the IPC, when the existing collaboration among participating brands within DataPadel was one of the key elements that helped drive the creation of the Cluster.
