The innovative online panel DATAPADEL, conceived and developed by DataPadel SA, is supported by leading brands manufacturing padel rackets and balls and has been providing specific data on the sell-in sales of paddle industry brands in Spain since 2016.
The panel is based on three data sources: based on wholesale sales figures for paddle rackets and balls products, the panel provides users with market size in units, value in €, and average price for the main defined price ranges. This is possible with the input of data by brands through a secure online platform.
The project is open to all relevant brands operating in the Spanish market and, in an upcoming phase, to retailer brands (with their own brand) operating in the market. The resulting market data is presented through the platform to all participants.
Brands subscribed to DataPadel quarterly incorporate their wholesale sales data in value and volume, nationally and since early 2019 also internationally, across six price ranges and four seasons per year: Q1 (first quarter sales) Q2 (second quarter sales) Q3 (third quarter sales) Q4 (fourth quarter sales).
